Privacy

In short: we collect an email address if you give us one, and the details you type into the contact form. We do not sell anything to anyone, we do not run advertising trackers on this site, and you can have everything deleted by asking.

What we collect

If you subscribe. Your email address, your name if you give one, and which form you used. That is all.

If you use the contact form. Your name, email address, business name if you give one, the budget range you select, and what you write in the message.

If you simply visit. Google Analytics records anonymous usage: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site sent you. It does not identify you by name, and we have not enabled advertising or personalisation features on it. If you are signed in to this site as an administrator, no analytics are recorded at all.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to send the weekly article if you asked for it, and to understand which pages are useful. Nothing else.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your details.
• We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in the contact form. The weekly email only goes to people who sign up for it.
• We do not send a sequence of sales emails after an enquiry.

Who else can see it

Only the services that make the site work: our hosting provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Each of them sees only what they need to do their job. We do not pass your details to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while there is a reasonable chance of doing business together, and deleted on request at any time. Subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs rotate on our host’s normal schedule.

Your choices

Every email we send has a working unsubscribe link, and it removes you immediately rather than after a delay. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it without asking why. Email us and say so.

Cookies

This site sets a cookie to remember that you have already seen the subscribe prompt, so it does not keep appearing. Google Analytics sets its own measurement cookies. There are no advertising cookies.

Data in the systems we build for you

This page is about people who visit this website. If we build automations for your business, that is different: they run inside your own accounts, and we never keep a copy of your business data. How that works is explained on our security page and in our terms.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, the change will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.
